This plate was created from a slab of white stoneware clay that was cut and formed by hand, then painted with a blue underglaze, then carved with hand tools in what is called "sgraffito". Finished with a durable glossy clear glaze.
It measures around 10cm in diameter.
Fired twice in a ceramic kiln, the second time at 1200°C, the bowl is light but durable.
Dishwashing and microwaving is not recommended.
