This plate was formed by hand using rolling and pinching methods, a violet underglaze was applied to the raw clay, then it was carved with hand tools in what is called "sgraffito". Finished with a durable clear glossy glaze.
It measures around 16cm in diameter.
Fired twice in a ceramic kiln, the second time at 1200°C, the bowl is light but durable.
Dishwashing and microwaving is not recommended.
